MultiSpot Nd:YAG

 

Leg veins, spider veins and other benign vascular lesions are among the most frequent and challenging aesthetic complaints.  While Sclerotherapy is considered the treatment of choice for the removal of superficial leg veins, many vessels may be too small to inject or patients may have an aversion to this invasive procedure. 

 

 

 

 

The MultiSpot Nd:YAG allows for the fast treatment of deep, large feeder veins and telangiectatic matting with less pain than with injections and typically does not require compression garments. 

 

 

 

 

During treatment larger veins are completely closed and sealed, while smaller ones are effectively dissolved.  The wavelength of light and pulsing characteristics of the system allow the energy to be virtually invisible to the epidermal melanin, thus protecting the skin and allowing treatment of all skin types and tanned skin any time of the year.  In addition multiple spot sizes allow accurate targeting of vessels anywhere on the body including larger veins of the face.
